Used to obtain an ultra wide picture of the retina. This test can substitute a dilated exam in certain cases. This test is recommended every 1 -2 year.
OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)
Used to obtain cross sectional images of the retina with defined the retinal layer. It is used to help diagnosis, monitor, and treat eye diseases such as glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration.
Humphrey Visual Field
Used to detect visual loss in the central and peripheral visual field. This is used to help detect and monitor eye diseases such as glaucoma, optic neuropathies, brain abnormalities, and macular conditions.
VEP/ERG – Diopsys
Helps evaluate the connection between the eyes and the brain via electrical activity in the visual system. This aids in the diagnosis and treatment of many eye diseases including amblyopia, brain injury or stroke, glaucoma, and multiple sclerosis.
Foresee PHP – Preferential Hyperacuity Perimeter
Aids in detecting changes at the macula related to age related macular degeneration. It uses hyperacuity, or Vernier acuity, to test the sensitivity and specificity of the photoreceptors in the eye.
Used to aid in the diagnosis of Dry Eye Syndrome. It measures the osmolarity of the tears being produced in the eyes. This numerical value is used to diagnosis and monitor changes in dry eyes.
Used to accurately diagnosis of dry eyes and records findings. The doctors are able to compare before and after treatment results to help monitor the success of treatment.
Used to enhance to quality of tear film through temperature control ocular massage. This treatment is provided in office as part of the Dry Eye Clinic.
Used to remove debris from eyelids that causes inflammation. It is a treatment for eye conditions such as Blepharitis, and Dry Eye Syndrome. This treatment is provided in office as requested by the doctor.
